Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C. is hiring a Shipping Associate for our Hanover, MD facility. You will enter shipment data, attach documentation, verify carriers, and perform end-of-day closeouts, palletize equipment, and pack materials for shipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 66 pounds. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience operating lift equipment, including forklift.
• At least one year of experience using general warehouse tools for building pallets, or related shipping experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player and exhibit self-management practices.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 66 pounds.
• Work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Enter shipment data into carrier systems.
• Enter and certifying data in internal systems.
• Attach appropriate documentation to each shipment.
• Confirm shipment carriers and loading trucks.
• End of day system closeouts.
• Assemble and box material.
• Kit material and equipment.
• Palletize equipment for shipment.
• Safely operate various lift equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Other warehouse duties as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experiencereading and writing bills of lading and booking and scheduling trucks.
• Experience with freight carrier systems and packaging.
• Qualified forklift certification.
