Idaho Pacific Holdings is seeking a Shipping Assistant to support the Shipping Manager and warehouse operations. You will help optimize the use of assets, ensure shipments meet company standards for packaging, palletization, and counts, and maintain accurate records in English.
Responsibilities include coordinating daily shipping, verifying bills of lading, maintaining inventory, and communicating across teams.
Summary:
This position works under and with the Shipping Manager to assist the Shipping and Warehouse Operations. This position will be responsible for the daily effective use of all company assets including personnel, equipment, and warehouse inventory. Will ensure all product shipments are within company standards for package condition, pallet configuration, and product count per pallet. Ensure all vessels being loaded are in compliance with Company standards - contact Quality Assurance, management, or appropriate personnel before loading if unsure. Must be able to keep legible, accurate and complete records and reports in English. Must be able to closely follow operational instructions.

Education must be of such level as to allow for the accurate reading, writing, calculation and communication of the required materials and instructions to complete the job responsibilities. High school diploma or higher education preferred.

Supervisor Duties:
The Shipping Assistant has no supervisory authority. Will report to the Shipping Manager.
Working Conditions:
Normal plant / manufacturing / warehouse environment. Hours of operation are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Must be available for all days and all hours. Position is very physical / hands on. Will be exposed to ligh levels of noise, heat, cold, dust, and wet and humid conditions, and all other environmental factors normally attributed to a shipping environment.
