Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Shipping/Receiving Manager for a busy manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead the Shipping & Receiving team, manage inventory, drive productivity and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery targets.

The role requires strong leadership, forklifts/cranes operation ability, ERP experience and hands-on problem solving to improve processes while communicating with senior management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment.
• 3+ years of management experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Shipping & Receiving team, including hiring, training and scheduling.
• Manage inventory and work closely with inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure quality standards and on-time delivery requirements are met.
• Monitor team productivity and provide performance feedback, mentoring and disciplinary action where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Optimize personnel and resources to achieve operational goals.
• Act as a key communication link between employees and senior management.
• Motivate employees, resolve operational issues and make sound decisions.
• Use ERP systems to manage outbound loads and ensure shipments are processed on time.
• Ensure products are correctly packed and shipped efficiently.
• Complete other duties as required.
