Job summary

B and D Foods is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Warehouse position responsible for shipping and receiving product, verifying counts and labeling of product, and maintaining records and inventories. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, driving a forklift, supplying materials to production lines, keeping records, and maintaining facilities equipment.

GMP and SOP adherence is required, with a 2-year forklift background and ability to lift 50 lbs; proficiency in Excel,

Qualifications

• 2 years forklift experience or more.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with inventory and record keeping.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Verify counts and ensure accuracy of warehouse materials.
• Drive forklift to move materials around the facility.

Job description

Our Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Warehouse position is responsible for shipping and receiving product, verifying counts and labeling of product, ensuring record keeping and inventories, driving forklifts, putting loads together and maintaining the warehouse equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible to load and unload trucks.
• Verifying counts and ensuring accuracy of warehouse materials.
• Driving Forklift.
• Supplying materials to production lines.
• Keeping records.
• Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance and cleaning on the forklift or other equipment.
• Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Desired Background/Experience:

2 years forklift experience, able to lift 50 lbs, experience in inventory and record keeping. Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. High School Diploma or GED.
