Job summary

Laundry Owners Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control at our Florida facility. You will coordinate with carriers, verify deliveries, and ensure proper storage and dispatch of goods.

Key responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining records, and supporting a friendly, service-oriented team. English proficiency and attention to detail are essential for accurate order fulfillment and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse shipping/receiving required.
• Familiarity with shipping software (FedEx/UPS) is a plus.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine shipment methods with carriers and organize loading.
• Receive merchandise, check slips, and assist unloading as needed.
• Inspect goods against invoices, report shortages, reject damaged items.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determines the method of shipment with our carriers
• Receives merchandise - checks and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary
• Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages, and rejects damaged goods
• Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company procedures.
• Organizes the distribution and shipping of merchandise. Makes necessary verifications against documents, unpacks, and routes goods to appropriate storage areas. Handles customer pick-ups.
• May operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
• Maintains internal record-keeping systems
• Contact the resource people for various information.
• Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped, and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions
• Knows proper shipping procedures for the transportation of dangerous goods
• Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock on shelves. Ensures the area is secure at all times.
