Job summary

NEXGEN Tooling, a family-owned manufacturer of high-performance cutting tools, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following ISO 9001 standards.

Job Description and Duties

• Receive and process incoming orders via email into ERP software system.
• Create labels and affix to packaging tubes as per job traveler definition.
• Create and prepare shipments by processing orders from packers, pulling products from inventory, packing boxes, and placing orders in the shipping area.
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
• Work in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, floor area, and workstations neat; maintaining the shipping and supply area; and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Complete processes by entering and supplying the required information.
• Ensure that all paperwork and ERP entries are completed accurately.

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

• First Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
• Team player with good organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
