Job summary

Aerotek in Pontiac, MI is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a contract-to-hire role. The position supports the production line by coordinating shipments, receiving inbound materials, and preparing outbound products. Work hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on weekends.

Steel-toe footwear is required from day one. The role emphasizes accuracy in material handling, RF scanning, and adherence to safety standards in a climate-controlled warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and general production.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and loading techniques.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively and perform tasks that require squatting, bending, and ducking.
• Good attendance record.

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will play a key role in coordinating the shipment and receipt of materials and products. You will be instrumental in ensuring the production line is supplied with the necessary materials. Work in a spacious, 30,000 sq. ft warehouse that is part of a larger 150,000 sq. ft facility. The area is completely renovated and spotless, providing a clean and climate-controlled environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $21.11/hr.
