Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Commerce City, CO is hiring a warehouse associate to coordinate order fulfillment with production, scale and label orders, and ship JIT orders by 2:30 pm finish. Starting compensation is $21.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential.

The role requires data entry, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to operate an electric pallet jack or forklift. Overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be flexible and willing to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to run an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Collect all orders at a central point and accurately scaling and labeling the orders.
• Use the computer and scanning gun to move the product and ensure accurate selection.
• Produce packing slips, invoices and purchase orders accurately.
• Interact with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are received.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

This position is responsible for coordinating activities with production to scale, raft and ship JIT orders on a timely and accurate basis.

Essential Duties

• Collecting all orders at a central point and accurately scaling and labeling the orders
• Using the computer and scanning gun to move the product to ensure that foods can select the product.
• Producing packing slips, invoices and purchase orders accurately.
• Interacting with the warehouse personnel to ensure all orders are received.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Physical Demands

• Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
• Frequent exposure to extreme cold and risk of electrical shock and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places, extreme heat, loud work environment.
