We are currently hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Associate I in our Boise, ID location. This position will assist with basic tasks involved in the shipping and receiving process at Porvair Filtration Group. This entry-level role focuses on handling, moving, and organizing goods to ensure that incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspecting Goods
• Unload shipments and inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Shipping Preparation
• Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to Company and customer guidelines to ensure damage-free delivery.
• Ensure accurate documentation for outgoing shipments and pick up of goods, pick up of goods, small package, LTL, FTL, etc.
• Negotiate general shipping rates with various vendors: Leverage shipping volume to justify discounts and/or decrease in rates.
• Inventory Management
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Organize and store products in designated areas.
• Satisfy customer’s documentation and retention requirements.
• General Warehouse Duties
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Coordinate with other functional areas of the business (Purchasing, Quality, etc.) and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications/Training
