Job summary

The Gund Company in Wisconsin has an immediate opening for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate. The shift is first (8:30am - 5:00pm, M-F), and the wage range is $20.60–$22.66 per hour, with the plant at 809 Philip Drive, Waukesha, WI 53186.

The role involves handling shipments, labeling, and documentation to ensure customer satisfaction. We value experience in manufacturing, proficiency with shipping portals, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read production or shipping documents.
• Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, customer portals, and international paperwork preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage order shipments using FedEx, UPS, and customer portals.
• Prepare product for shipment by inspecting, labeling and packaging according to procedures.
• Confirm correct quantity against work order or packing slip.
• Load and unload trucks; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary Shipping and Receiving Associate

• Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.
• Knowledge of various items in stock; ability to select appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing containers; applying labels or entering identifying data on container.

Key Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving Associate

• Manage order shipments using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specific portals.
• Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures.
• Confirm correct quantity/counts against work order or packing slip.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read production or shipping documents.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Prior experience with UPS, FedEx, customer portals, and international paperwork is preferred.

Work Environment Shipping and Receiving Associate

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• The position involves repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
