Job summary

White Cap in Houston is hiring a Receiving Associate to join our growing distribution network. You will receive, count, and store items, and help ensure accurate data entry into our systems to support field operations.

0–2 years in a warehouse role is common; forklift experience and familiarity with Oracle software are preferred. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus and the position offers strong benefits within a stable company.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in receiving or warehouse roles.
• Experience with warehouse software (Oracle or similar).
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the designated area.
• Works with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Receiving Associate at White Cap
