Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Receiving Associate in Portland, OR to support our nationwide distribution network. You will receive, count, store and document inventory, while coordinating with purchasing and shipping to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires forklift experience, familiarity with Oracle or similar sales order software, and knowledge of construction products. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within a trusted, large-scale industrial

• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with sales order software, Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.
• Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
