Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Receiving Associate in Goodyear, AZ. You will receive, count, and store items and maintain accurate receiving records using company software.

The role involves picking and packing stock, communicating with vendors, and supporting purchasing with shortages to ensure timely deliveries. Ideal candidates have forklift or reach truck experience, familiarity with Oracle software, and knowledge of construction products.

• Experience operating forklift, reach truck and order picker.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.
• Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience operating a forklift, Reach truck and order picker Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
