Acadian-Contractors-Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate in Abbeville, LA. This full-time on-site role focuses on accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments and maintaining organized, safe warehouse operations.

You will verify shipments, prepare orders, and communicate with drivers and team members. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Position:

Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate Employment Type: Full-Time Location: 17102 W. Hwy 330, Abbeville La, 70510

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure that incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare, pack, label, and process outgoing shipments.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure products are properly packaged for delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
• Communicate with drivers, vendors, and team members regarding shipments.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete shipping documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
