Job summary

Acadian-Contractors-Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate in Abbeville, LA. This full-time on-site role focuses on accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments and maintaining organized, safe warehouse operations.

You will verify shipments, prepare orders, and communicate with drivers and team members. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.

• Basic data entry and shipping documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare, pack, label, and process outgoing shipments.
• Verify order accuracy and proper packaging.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records.
• Organize inventory and keep the warehouse safe.
• Communicate with drivers and team members regarding shipments.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
