Job summary

Performance Energy Services, LLC is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Gray, LA. You will check in material, label items, coordinate with purchasing, operate forklift, and organize load outs.

You will maintain accurate records and support multiple teams in a fast-paced shop environment. The role requires 3–5 years shipping/receiving, forklift experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Forklift experience required; certification a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a team.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Check in material, enter system, and proper labelling on materials.
• Notify of incorrect material to purchasing.
• Operate forklift, trucks, and trailers.
• Organize load outs.
• Keep all tools, gang boxes, trailers up to date with service and in working order.
• Keep shop, materials, and tool rooms organized & clean.
• Coordinate staging of project material and return of unused project material.
• Manage paperwork associated with items mentioned above.
• Coordinate with purchasing and line managers for pickups and drop offs.
• Line up shop drivers for pickups and drop offs.
• Self-sufficient, completing duties with minimum supervision.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Check in material, enter system, and proper labelling on materials (ex. Customer, Job, & Location)
• Notify of incorrect material to purchasing
• Operate forklift, trucks, and trailers
• Organize load outs
• Keep all tools, gang boxes, trailers up to date with service and in working order
• Keep shop, materials, and tool rooms organized & clean.
• Coordinate staging of project material and return of unused project material
• Manage paperwork associated with items mentioned above
• Coordinate with purchasing and line managers for pickups and drop offs
