Job summary

Ohio Ag Connection in Willard, Ohio, seeks a dependable Shipper/Receiver to support Distribution operations. You will unload ingredients and containers, load finished products, and handle lifting requirements up to 50 lb bags and 15-25 lb cases, with forklift operation essential.

Under supervision, you will maintain safety, perform plant services duties, and contribute to on-time production. A forklift operator license is required and total compensation includes competitive health and wellness

Responsibilities

• Perform plant services duties such as sweeping and cleaning.
• Follow safety work rules and complete tasks safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: SHIPPER/RECEIVER

LOCATION: Willard, Ohio DEPARTMENT: Distribution

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Manager-Distribution, perform duties as mezzanine packer, product handler, material handler, and shipper/receiver. Must obtain a forklift operator license and operate both a forklift and walking power lift truck efficiently and safely to do the following duties.

DUTIES:

• 1.Unload ingredients and containers off trucks and move ingredients and containers from warehouses to production areas as required by the production schedule.
• 2.Unload/load finished product by picking orders, accurately meeting a case/hour requirement.
• 3.Lifting requirements include 50 lb. bags occasionally and 15-25 lb. cases on a continuous basis.
• 4.Will also have to put finished product away from production on a timely basis.
• 5.Will perform plant services duties; sweeping/cleaning.
• 6.Follow safety work rules and complete job tasks in a safe manner at all times.
• 7.Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
