Job summary

The Campbell's Company is seeking a Distribution Material Handler in a Denver-area location. The role focuses on receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing products and POS materials, ensuring inventory integrity, supporting customer fulfillment, and maintaining a safe work environment.

You will operate forklifts and scanners, assemble orders, label products, and participate in cycle counts and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must Have: High School Diploma or GED.
• Reading safety rules, operating instructions, procedures and policy documents.
• Ability to complete routine reports and communicate with coworkers/customers.
• Basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
• Ability to work under direct supervision while following policies.
• Forklift operator certification eligibility/maintenance.
• DOT certification where required by location.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload palletized and non-palletized products and POS materials using manual and powered equipment.
• Sort and place products and POS materials into storage locations.
• Assemble customer orders, palletize products, wrap shipments, and prepare orders for distribution.
• Identify and count products and POS materials for redistribution while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Label incoming products with date codes, descriptions, product codes, and case counts.
• Label outgoing products with route numbers, bin locations, and pallet counts.
• Verify quantities of received products and POS materials.
• Use handheld computers and scanning technology per guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move products.
• Prepare and organize warehouse areas for cycle counts and inventory activities.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Follow safety, hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Participate in scheduled warehouse cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, efficient work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with possible overtime

How You Will Make History Here…

As a Distribution Material Handler, you will help ensure warehouse operations run efficiently by accurately receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing products and point-of-sale (POS) materials. Working under direct supervision, you will contribute to maintaining inventory integrity, supporting customer fulfillment, and promoting a safe and organized work environment.

What You Will Do…

• Load and unload palletized and non-palletized products and POS materials using manual and powered material handling equipment.
• Sort and place products and POS materials into designated warehouse storage locations.
• Assemble customer orders, palletize products, wrap shipments, and prepare orders for distribution.
• Accurately identify and count products and POS materials for redistribution while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Label incoming products with identifying information, including date codes, product descriptions, product codes, and case counts.
• Label outgoing products with route numbers, bin locations, and pallet counts.
• Verify quantities of received products and POS materials.
• Use handheld computers and scanning technology in accordance with company operating guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Prepare and organize warehouse areas for cycle counts, inventory activities, and order fulfillment.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checklists, reporting any defective equipment.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Participate in scheduled warehouse cleaning and sanitation activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring To The Table… (must Have)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and policy documents.
• Ability to complete routine reports and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
• Ability to work effectively under direct supervision while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to qualify for and maintain forklift operator certification.
• DOT certification where required by location.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 100 pounds.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
• Experience using handheld warehouse technology, scanners, or inventory systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse inventory control, cycle counting, and product distribution processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse sanitation, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing, consumer goods, or distribution environment.

Work Environment

This position regularly works around moving mechanical equipment and may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and varying temperatures. The noise level is generally moderate. Employees should be comfortable working in both indoor warehouse and outdoor environments as business needs require.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
