Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie, Theodore, AL, is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver to handle shipping, receiving, and stocking of finished goods to fulfill customer orders.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, HazMat training (at hire), and 0–3 months of warehousing experience. You will operate forklifts and pallet-jack equipment in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification is required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training is required (will certify at hire).
• 0–3 months of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet; pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Create and apply shipping documents such as packing lists and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
