Horton, Inc. has an opening for Shipper in Britton, SD. This 1st shift role runs roughly 7:00 am–3:30 pm with overtime as needed. You will move materials, fill orders, and prepare shipments with accurate labeling and shipping documents.

The position requires a high school diploma (or GED), forklift and driver's licenses, and attention to detail. A background in manufacturing is a plus, and we offer a competitive benefits package in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent (GED).
• Six months of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must obtain a forklift license and have a valid drivers license.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move material between process areas and stock storage areas.
• Fill orders from stock and prepare products for shipment with proper labeling and shipping documents.
• Load or unload trucks using material handling equipment.
• Gather parts from pick lists in correct quantities for shipments.
• Sort orders by ship date priority and assemble/pack orders for shipping.
