Job summary

Horton, Inc. invites applicants for a Shipper position at our Britton, SD location. The role is 1st shift, typically 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include pulling orders, packing, labeling, and preparing shipping documents, plus loading/unloading trucks. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, up to six months of manufacturing experience, and a forklift and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to six months of manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must have forklift license and a valid driver’s license.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order handling.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move material between process areas and stock storage.
• Fill orders from stock and prepare products for shipment.
• Load or unload trucks using material handling equipment.
• Sort orders by ship date, pack and label shipments.
• Perform other duties as directed by the manager.
