Job summary

Horton, Inc. in Britton, SD is seeking a Receiver for 1st shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm with overtime as needed). Minimum pay starts at $21.39 per hour, depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include receiving parts, verifying quantities, entering data, and coordinating with production to ensure smooth workflow. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Six months of relevant manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain an industrial power truck license.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts from carriers and verify quantity and condition.
• Enter receiving data into the business system and track location.
• Scan packing slips and assign to interdock system with expiration date.
• Move material to storage or staging areas using material handling equipment.
• Coordinate with production to meet workflow and deadlines.
• Train others on methods, procedures and work instructions.
