Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Shipping Clerk to handle outbound shipments, verify records, and prepare necessary paperwork. The role requires forklift operation, basic computer/data-entry skills, and adherence to safety practices in a fully onsite environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and coordinating with production and service teams to ensure timely, accurate shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Job Summary

Responsible for shipping products to customers. Verify and keep records on outgoing products, prepare items for shipment, arrange transportation, complete outbound paperwork, and use parcel software. Move product to outbound shipping lanes.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and/or receiving duties.
• Maintain manual/computerized records and files. Generate shipping/receiving reports and documentation. Properly create export paperwork using online tools.
• Process all required paperwork. Complete bills of lading and other required forms with a high level of accuracy. Close orders in system as required.
• Use parcel computer program to accurately address outbound shipments for pickup for parcel service.
• Transport material to staging areas, inventory areas, and other designated areas.
• Verify count/weight and check items ready for shipment against customer order. Work with Production Control and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.
• Keep adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Keep work area neat and orderly (5S standards).
• When limited/no work in area, may provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills; PC and terminal use, basic data entry.
• Forklift operation.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions, read/write English, and interpret documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Responsible with motorized equipment.
• Good eye/hand coordination and motor skills.
• Successfully pass in-company forklift driver training and road test for safe handling.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Occasionally bend and lift at the knees.
• Twist frequently at waist and shoulder levels.
• Stand continuously.
• Frequently reach out in front of body.
• Exert sustained physical effort.
• Wear safety glasses with permanent side shields at all times.
• Wear steel‑toed safety shoes at all times.
• Wear other PPE as required.
• Work may be repetitive.
• Maintain continuous mental and visual attention. Visual acuity to read directions, prints, and inspect parts closely to meet specifications.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to perform assembly work.

Working Conditions

Typical manufacturing setting with movable, mechanical parts and equipment. Temperatures vary between warm summer months (no air conditioning) and cooler winter months. Dust and noise levels are within required limits. Vibrations from machinery and higher-than-normal dust levels are commonly encountered.
