SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Shipping and Receiving Assembler, you will prepare product for export and receive materials and goods needed for business.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving and sorting incoming goods and dispersing them to the proper personnel/department.
- Administer all paperwork associated with the department, packing slips, freight tickets, factory orders, and bills of lading.
- Validating all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Prepare all outgoing shipments in accordance to shipping standards for weight and crating specifications.
- Maintain UPS shipments and on-line system.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, use hands, walk, talk, hear; occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must have vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, electrical shock, vibration. Noise level is usually loud.
