Job summary

Zekelman Industries is hiring a Shipper for Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe, while ensuring accuracy via scanning tools. You will operate standard warehouse equipment and support safe, efficient material handling on a 1st shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Champions and enforces safe work practices according to policies and regulations.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders with scanning tools for accuracy.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and reports damaged incoming materials.
• Replenishes stock and rotates inventory using reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Standardizes and optimizes shipping/receiving procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Under direct supervision, responsible for picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
