Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Warehouse Technician for the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) to pick, pack, and load steel tube and pipe. You will operate standard warehouse equipment to ensure accurate, timely material handling, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience and a high school diploma are required; technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
• Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, responsible for picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. Operates standard warehouse equipment to ensure efficient material handling. 3rd Shift - 10:00pm - 6:30am Pay - $24.50
