Job summary

AAA United States, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to provide technical and operational leadership for major shipbuilding and maritime projects. The role involves directing cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to scope and schedules.

Candidates should have a strong background in ship design and production processes, with experience in ABS, NAS, and regulatory standards. Onboard vessel work experience preferred, with readiness to navigate confined spaces and shipyards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in shipyard design or large-scale projects.
  • Experience identifying design and production sequence conflicts.
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding specs (ABS, Mil, API).
  • Proficient in project scheduling and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical and operational execution of assigned projects.
  • Develop project requirements, coordinate with engineering resources, and monitor scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Resolution of design, material, and planning issues; liaise with Finance, Production Control, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
  • Ensure technical reviews and approvals are obtained; support compliance initiatives.
