Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced theatrical wardrobe stitcher for shipboard productions and experiences. You will perform alterations, repairs, and maintenance on costumes while adapting to the ship’s fast-paced productions and compact workspaces.

Must have 5+ years in theatrical costumes, proficiency with industrial sewing machines, and strong hand-sewing skills to work independently under tight deadlines in live performances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in theatrical costume construction or professional tailoring.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and sergers.
• Strong hand-sewing skills for delicate and specialty fabrics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working under tight deadlines in live performance environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform quick alterations and adjustments to pre-existing costumes to fit current cast members.
• Execute emergency repairs on performance costumes with minimal downtime.
• Maintain costume integrity while working within tight turnaround schedules.
• Assess garment condition and recommend maintenance priorities.
