Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring shipboard Servers for the 2026 season to work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant. This temporary position lasts up to 28 weeks, onboard a vessel, with wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400 per week.

Major living expenses are covered, offering a strong savings opportunity while gaining hospitality experience. Responsibilities include delivering elegant dining experiences, assisting with meal setups, relaying orders, and supporting guest services during embarkation

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug testing for shipboard employees.
• Grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware.
• Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions about menu items.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring items are presentable and garnished.
• May greet guests on embarkation and assist with afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment.
