Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a physician to evaluate and treat crew and guests on board. You will report to the Chief Physician ashore and Lead Physician on the ship, supervising referrals, monitoring fitness for duty and ensuring accurate medical reporting.

The role requires STCW medical credentials, pediatric and trauma experience, and life-support certifications. Duties include drills, immunization programs and maintaining safety standards at sea.

Qualifications

• Active medical license from STCW country and a medical degree.
• Good standing with Medical Board or Council prior to joining.
• 3 years of recent general and emergency medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shore referrals and medical debarks of crew with Shoreside Medical Services.
• Monitor crew unfit for duty and communicate with shore personnel.
• Support medical decisions for disembarks and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain safety duties, assist with immunization programs and drills.
• Use ACEP guidelines and Vessel Sanitation Program procedures.
