Job summary

Starboard Group is seeking a People Business Partner (HRBP) to lead HR programs across assigned cruise brands, reporting to the VP of Human Resources (Shipboard). You will focus on talent management, employee experience, compliance, and workforce optimization, spending significant time onboard ships and collaborating with retail management and associates.

  • Ability to influence cross-regional and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience driving employee relations and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR programs for organizational effectiveness, performance management, leadership development, talent planning, engagement and compensation.
  • Promote trust and engagement through leadership and clear communication.
  • Partner with managers to foster a positive shipboard work environment and gather input for improvement.
  • Provide performance feedback and actions to improve performance.
  • Ensure succession planning and development for readiness of future roles.
  • Coordinate training and feedback processes; support performance appraisals and recognition programs.
  • Manage shipboard employee relations and investigations to mitigate risk.
  • Influence policies, tools and resources to support organizational culture and processes.
  • Analyze data and identify trends to inform HR initiatives; lead HR projects.
