Job summary

POA Pride of America Ship Holding, LLC seeks an onboard Retail Supervisor to lead the boutique team, coach sales associates, and ensure brand standards. You will participate in direct selling, manage POS procedures, and support inventory and visual merchandising while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in retail supervision, strong selling skills, cruise or hospitality experience preferred, and the ability to travel and work onboard for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of retail supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong selling skills and guest service orientation.
• Inventory and POS system experience.
• Ability to travel and work onboard for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Luxury, jewelry, or specialty retail experience is preferred.
• Cruise or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Additional language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the retail team in reaching sales targets and key performance metrics.
• Coach sales associates on product knowledge, guest engagement, closing techniques, and selling behaviors.
• Participate directly in sales activities including product demonstration, close support, and driving traffic into the boutique.
• Ensure a welcoming, service-oriented, and brand-aligned boutique environment.
• Assist in resolving guest issues or escalations in partnership with the Boutique Manager.
• Encourage long-term guest relationship-building and loyalty.
• Assist with POS procedures, price checks, transaction accuracy and settlement conciliation.
• Support inventory activities including stock audits, receiving, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Maintain merchandising and visual standards in alignment with brand guidelines.
• Support preparation of weekly reports, performance summaries, and operational documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, training coordination, compliance checklists, and staff onboarding.
• Serve as acting Boutique Manager during Manager absence as assigned.
• Attend all required training, scheduled calls, meetings, and digital communications with shoreside teams as part of operational compliance and performance alignment.
• Coordinate with shipboard departments for events, activations, and promotional activities.
• Participate in operational meetings to ensure alignment and communication.
