Job summary

Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to support ship loading operations at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves loading, transporting, and stowing subsistence items and supplies onto Navy ships while keeping areas organized and safe.

The position is part-time with a daily schedule on weekdays. Candidates must pass background checks and Navy security screenings, and the role requires physical stamina and teamwork to ensure vessels

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and government security screening.
• Must successfully pass and maintain a Navy background security investigation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, transporting, and stowing subsistence items and supplies onboard Navy vessels.
• Use conveyor equipment when available to aid loading operations.
• Support storeroom preparation and organization; stock rotation as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and proper storage of supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and security requirements, including use of PPE.
