Job summary

Viking is looking for a committed 1st Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department aboard our ships. As a representative of Viking’s values, you will ensure exceptional service and cleanliness standards while managing the daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end hospitality setting, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills. A Business Administration or Hotel Management degree is preferred, and familiarity with Public Health Policies is essential.

Your role will include overseeing staff performance, managing laundry and logistics, and maintaining guest satisfaction while embodying the professionalism and flexibility expected at Viking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a 1st Housekeeper in a 5-star environment.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Public Health Policies is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department.
• Lead and motivate a diverse crew of Assistant Chief Housekeepers.
• Monitor performance and ensure service standards are met.
