Job summary

StratasCorp in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Computer Technician to maintain MECKs equipment onsite at Naval Station Norfolk. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring a Secret clearance and travel ability, with PPE and lifting duties in a shipyard environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring Windows 10 systems, patching IA, and collaborating with the MECK team to ensure operability and compliance. A strong focus on SOPs, documentation, and routine maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• SEC+ or equivalent certifications.
• Ability to travel.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day monitoring, testing, and Tier 1-2 maintenance actions for Windows 10 systems and associated printers by installing updates, conducting routine health checks, and troubleshooting/resolving technical issues.
• Ensure IA compliance by patching, scanning, and providing scans regularly.
• Work with a dedicated MECK support team to ensure operability and compliance/accreditation for all associated equipment.
• Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), drawings, and system documentation.
