Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an HVAC - Refrigeration Engineer to maintain and optimize onboard HVAC and refrigeration systems on our vessel. The role includes supervising Refrigeration Assistants and the Air Conditioning Team, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability for guests and crew.

You will operate, inspect and repair main chillers, brine systems and related equipment, while using AMOS and AIMS for planning, tracking and reporting. This is a shipboard, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC qualifications.
• EPA certification.
• Shipboard or maritime industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operation, inspection, maintenance, repairs and performance of main A/C chiller plant and supervisor system.
• Operation, inspection, maintenance and performance of fan coil A/C chiller plant and supervisor system.
• Operation, inspection, maintenance and performance of the central refrigeration system and related support systems.
• Maintain refrigerant and glycol system integrity; monitor gas consumption per EPA rules.
• Ensure guest and crew satisfaction while upholding Show Quality Standards.
• Proficient use of AMOS to forecast and record work and spares.
• Proficient use of AIMS to forecast and record deficiencies and close work orders.
• Oversee and train contractors onboard; seek operational efficiency improvements.
