Job summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks an HVAC - Refrigeration Engineer to maintain and operate onboard HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will supervise Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and the Air Conditioning Team and report to the First Engineer.

This is a shipboard role requiring living aboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include maintaining chiller plants, pumps, control systems, and ensuring EPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC qualifications.
• EPA certification.
• Shipboard or maritime industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain and repair main A/C chiller plant and associated systems.
• Operate and maintain fan coil and supervisor systems with associated pumps.
• Oversee central refrigeration and brine chiller units and monitoring systems.
• Use AMOS to forecast, record work and spares; use AIMS for guest/crew requests.
• Supervise Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and Air Conditioning Team; mentor staff.
• Maintain safety, GSM ratings and guest/crew satisfaction through quality service.
