Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line is seeking a Product Manager for Shipboard HR & Payroll Apps to lead delivery of Workday and MAPS and to shape a multi-year roadmap for shipboard HR and payroll applications. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive improvements in employee experience and data quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership accountability across enterprise applications and/or HR technology.
• 3+ years of Workday (HCM and Payroll/Absence/Learning) experience and/or comparable leading HCM platforms, including governance, configuration, testing, and integrations.
• 5+ years of people leadership and talent development experience, including leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
• 5+ years of experience leading application delivery and production support, including incident and release management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of product enhancements and projects across Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and Training/Learning (intake, prioritization, funding, design, configuration/build, testing, release, and adoption) across Workday, MAPS, and integrations.
• Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations for shipboard HR platforms and integrations, including production support, incident/problem management, and release management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing organization with objective setting, coaching, and succession planning.
• Drive cross-functional architecture and integration alignment with Security, Data/Analytics, Infrastructure, and other teams to ensure scalable solutions.
• Provide financial stewardship for the HR Applications portfolio, including vendor strategy, contracts/SOW oversight, SLAs, forecasting, and CapEx/OpEx budgets.
• Establish standards and controls (ITGC, SOX, privacy) and ensure audit readiness, access controls, and sound SDLC/DevOps practices.
• Identify automation opportunities (workflow, forms, integrations, RPA) to reduce manual effort and improve cycle times across HR services.
• Lead organizational change management for HR technology releases (training, communications, stakeholder engagement) to maximize adoption and value.
• Develop executive-level communications and provide escalation paths for complex issues.
