Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Dishwashers for the 2026 season aboard our ships. You will work in the shipboard galley to ensure proper sanitation of all dining service ware.

This is a temporary 28-week position with wages from $1,000 to $1,400 per week plus bonuses, and travel, room and board, uniforms, and training provided. Applicants must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to perform duties in a moving vessel environment.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, pre-employment drug testing is required for all shipboard employees.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and report maintenance issues to management.
• Create rapport with guests and cater to galley requests efficiently.
• May perform other duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during events.
