American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring dishwashers for the 2026 season to work aboard our ships in the galley, ensuring sanitation of all ware to support outstanding dining experiences.

This is a temporary position lasting up to 28 weeks with on-board living arrangements provided. Pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with additional bonuses and covered travel, room and board, uniforms, and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Alcohol consumption is prohibited.
• Temporary employment for 28 weeks onboard ship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure the dishwasher is operating properly and report any issues.
• Create rapport with guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently.
• May assist with embarkation greetings and participation in events when needed.
