Job summary

Carnival Corporation Ltd. in Miami/Homestead area is seeking a Shipboard Finance Analyst to manage planning, reporting and analysis of shipboard operating and capital expenses for a fleet of vessels.

You will bridge Finance and Operations and coordinate funding requests with Technical Operations, Nautical Operations, Supply Chain, Marine Planning, Hotel Operations and Port Operations to ensure funding is fully vetted.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis in a complex environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaison between Finance and Operations.
• Maritime industry experience or operational finance is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead analyst for shipboard capital planning and execution.
• Develop quarterly operating expense forecasts with cross-functional partners.
• Support annual operating and capital budgets with large vessel budgets.
• Identify process improvements and KPI development for reporting.
• Assist with sourcing-related negotiations and cost reduction efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
