Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Shipboard Finance Analyst to manage planning, reporting and analysis for operating and capital expenses across a fleet. You will coordinate with Technical Operations, Nautical, Supply Chain and Port Operations to ensure funding requests are vetted and understood.

The role emphasizes capital governance, quarterly forecasts, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize financial performance across multiple vessels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• MBA degree is preferred.
• 2+ years in maritime industry or operational finance is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipboard capital planning and execution, manage governance, and prepare memos for Capital Committee.
• Liaise with shipboard officers and shoreside management for quarterly expense forecasts.
• Assist in building annual operating budgets >$500M and capital budget ~$200M annually.
• Identify process improvements and KPIs for capital reporting and decision making.
• Support sourcing negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
