Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in industrial or marine settings preferred.
• US Person requirement per ITAR regulations.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and work at shipboard sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in applying thermal spray coatings to vessel surfaces per specs.
• Perform sandblasting and surface prep on naval substrates.
• Work in shipyard and onboard environments, including confined spaces and elevated platforms.
• Learn to use micrometers and calipers to verify coating thickness.
• Transport, set up, and maintain portable thermal spray equipment.
• Complete field operation documentation per requirements.
• Adhere to strict safety procedures and PPE protocols.
• Support quality inspections and identify rework needs.
