Job summary

Electronic Marine Systems, a 47-year-old technology company specializing in ship automation, is seeking a capable installer/technician to install and repair our complete line of Navy and commercial shipboard products. The role will supervise others on site, run cables, mount equipment, and terminate wires to test and commission systems.

You'll support sea trials worldwide, receive full product training, and work from our New Jersey office with our design engineering team collaborating on

Qualifications

  • Background in electronics with AAS or BS or equivalent experience.
  • Navy or shipyard background is a plus.
  • Familiar with basic test equipment such as meters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair shipboard product line and supervise others on site.
  • Run cables, mount equipment, terminate wires, and test/commission systems.
  • Conduct sea trials to verify operation and calibration; train crew.
