Job summary

KBR is seeking a Shipboard Ammunition Logistics Specialist to manage, handle, transport, and store all types of ammunition, explosives, and missiles for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. You will inspect materials for serviceability and maintain an ammunition security program to reduce risk of loss or theft.

The role requires passing a U.S. Government background check and obtaining a Secret Clearance, plus four years of related experience and completion of the Ammunition Specialist Course

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. Government background check and Secret clearance.
• Four years of directly related work experience.
• Completion of Ammunition Specialist Course or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ammunition inspection and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ammunition for serviceability and need for repair or destruction.
• Maintain ammunition security program to prevent loss or theft.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed in storage and operations.
• Handle, transport, and store all types of ammunition, explosives, and missiles.
