Job summary

KBR Careers seeks a Specialist, Materials - Ordnance to administer production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials at a U.S. base operation.

The role requires handling parts, verifying quantities and serial numbers, and maintaining status reports under supervision. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in ordnance or ammunition with Navy/Marine/Army/AF exposure, strong prioritization, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in various Ordnance or Ammunition roles performed while assigned to Navy / Marine / Army or Air Force, munitions /ordnance organizations.
• Demonstrate skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials.
• Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items.
• Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
