Job summary

The Shipboard Ammunition Logistics Specialist works to manage, handle, transport, and store all types of ammunition, explosives, and missiles. You will inspect materials to determine serviceability and need for repair or destruction, and maintain an ammunition security program to reduce risk of loss or theft.

You will ensure safety regulations are met during storage and ammunition operations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support MCPP operations and KBR's commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Pass US Government background check and obtain Secret Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Four years directly related work experience.
• Normal color vision.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Passport or ability to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Manage, handle, transport, and store ammunition, explosives, and missiles.
• Inspect materials to determine serviceability and need for repair or destruction.
• Maintain an ammunition security program to reduce risk of loss or theft.
• Ensure safety regulations are met in storage and during ammunition operations.
