Job summary

Northwest Center is seeking a dynamic Team Supervisor to oversee ship provisioning operations in Bremerton and Everett. The role involves hands-on outdoor work, leading loading teams, and ensuring timely deliveries to naval vessels.

The position requires experience in supervising a team, material handling, and operating equipment such as vans and forklifts, with a focus on safety and inclusivity. Commute between Bremerton and Everett is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with material handling or general labor roles.
• Ability to operate motorized and manual material handling equipment (e.g., vans, trucks, forklifts).
• Must be able to lift/move 40–70 lbs.
• Able to work in confined spaces onboard vessels in varying temps.
• Must have valid driver’s license and US citizenship; pass Naval clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead ship loading teams in Bremerton and Everett; ensure schedule adherence.
• Train, mentor, and support team members of diverse abilities.
• Collaborate with logistics/operations managers to optimize loading processes.
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance.
• Foster inclusivity and teamwork within the team.
• Operate and oversee transport-related duties as needed.
