Job summary

Americold seeks a warehouse supervisor to lead a shift in receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control. You will mentor staff, manage schedules, and uphold safety protocols across the team.

The role requires forklift certification, 3+ years in a supervisory or warehouse setting, and strong MS Office skills to maintain records and reports. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience, or completion of Americold's internship, or a bachelor's degree.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Forklift certification required; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading, stacking, picking and staging of shipments.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Facilitate cross communication between shifts and conduct shift meetings.
• Oversee safe operation of materials handling equipment and maintain a clean, secure area.
• Ensure staff compliance with safety policies and report incidents per OSHA standards.
• Direct work schedules, assign duties, and evaluate employee performance.
• Address personnel issues and collaborate with staff to resolve problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
