Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead an assigned shift, overseeing receiving, warehousing, and shipping to meet service and cost objectives. You will supervise staff, ensure quality standards, and maintain effective shift communication.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience (or Americold internship or a bachelor’s degree), a high school diploma, forklift certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience, or completion of Americold's internship program, or a bachelor's degree.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, calculators, desktop computers, and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading, stacking, picking and staging of shipments to maintain quality.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Facilitate cross communication between shifts and conduct shift meetings.
• Oversee safe operation of materials handling equipment and maintain a clean, secure work area.
• Ensure staff compliance with safety policies, investigate and report safety incidents, and conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Direct work schedules, assign duties, and evaluate employee performance, including preparing records and reports.
• Address personnel issues, assess training needs, and collaborate with staff and management to resolve work-related problems.
• Travel may be required.
